Couch Surfing

So my roommate Andy is going to travel out west for thirty days by motorcycle and he discovered a website called couchsurfers.com.  It’s a community of world wide travelers who open their homes/couches to those who need a place to crash for the night.  Their tag line is “participating in creating a better world one couch at a time” and we thought, hey, that would be a really cool thing to do, so we created a profile and opened up our home.  Maybe we’ll get to meet some really cool people….or maybe we might have bums stay with us and all my stuff will be stolen when I get home from work…either way, it’ll be exciting!  Hopefully we’ll get our first group of travelers soon and I’ll update the post on our experience.
